WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Well, let’s start at the start. I’m an Australian tech/media/games/geek journalist based in Sydney. I’m kept busy enough working for outlets like news.com.au, Atomic, Asylum, and others that I don’t really need to make more work for myself.
But there are so many cool, crazy, wonderful things — fancy events, shiny new gadgets, interesting people — I get access to that never turn into written stories. So Midnight Update was born. It’s not quite ‘lifecasting’, but I like the idea of sharing all the interesting stories that pass my desk each day.
So here you’ll find the daily update show Monday through Thursday around midnight (technically Tuesday to Friday very early morning). Plus I’ll also be Twittering my way through the day sharing any interesting news I pick up along the way. I’ll also be using the Qik live webcasting service to do real-time video coverage from major events.
